Springtime Means Cookouts, Holiday World and Grandma On a Roller Coaster

One of my favorite parts of this time of year is getting out the grill and some outdoor cooking. It is also the time of year my boys ask when we are going to Holiday World...they love Roller Coasters and always ask me if I will ride with them...well, heck yeah!!! I came across this video that reminded me when I was  a kid and a great little amusement park my grandfather used to take us to. He was 77-years old and more excited about the rides than my brother and I.

I will never forget the time he came down a gigantic slide on a potato sack....it was hilarious and the look on his face was the same as the 70-year-old grandmother riding a roller coaster in the below video. My mom gets motion sickness backing out of the garage, but her dad, my grandfather and this grandmother know how to rock it with the best of 'em...enjoy.
