Open enrollment season is here, and if you don't have a healthcare plan through a job or government program, it's time to get covered. From November 1st through December 15th, you can shop for a plan that starts on New Year's Day. Depending on your income, you might qualify for financial assistance through a government subsidy. The website is very user-friendly. For example, under the "See Topics" tab, you can select "See if You'll Save" and enter your number of dependents and state and it will tell you if you'll save with Obamacare. You do not have to enter any personal information.
