Eric loves driving the folks of the Tri-State home every weekday on 99.5 WKDQ! Eric was born and raised in Louisville, KY. He attended Western Kentucky University and is a Hilltopper through and through. While there, he studied radio broadcasting and helped launch WKU’s first 24-hour, student-run radio station. After college, Eric spent a couple more years in Bowling Green at WBVR, but made his first big splash at WFGE in Murray, KY, hosting the morning show for 3 years. Eric and his wife, Lori, now live in Henderson. They had their first child, a beautiful baby girl named LeAnn Ray in February of 2011. Eric and Lori also have a spoiled dog name Eva (from the Vanderburgh Co. Humane Society!) Eric has two major guilty pleasures…Karaoke and Pro Wrestling…so if you want to pick the mic up or lay the smack down, he’s in.

I can't say the top 3 of this year's American Idol is a surprise, but at the same time I thought we'd see folks like Colton and Skylar here...heck I even thought Shannon had a chance before she butchered the opening rounds. But, we have Joshua, Jessica, and Phillip. Who goes home? I have the answer!

So, today the Carmi teen's "Sothern Gentlemen" faces off against a comeback song from an ACM, CMA, and Grammy award-winning band, The Mavericks.
