September Coffee with a Cop Cancelled for Mickey’s Kingdom Build

We have some good news and some bad news. You probably gathered the bad news from the headline. The September edition of Coffee with a Cop scheduled for tomorrow (September 18th, 2018) at Donut Bank on Lincoln Avenue is cancelled. The good news is, Coffee with a Cop will continue as scheduled beginning in October!

Police Chief Billy Bolin made the "executive decision" Sunday evening to cancel this month's edition because it coincides with the Mickey's Kingdom Community Build. Chief Bolin asks that anyone who was planning on attending Coffee with a Cop, instead stop by the Mickey's Kingdom build site and lend a hand beginning at 8:00 a.m.

One thing to note about next month's edition. Instead of falling on the third Tuesday of the month, it will fall on the first Tuesday* to mark the celebration of National Coffee with a Cop Day.

*Note: The first Tuesday of October is October 2nd, not 3rd as noted in the graphic.
