I have an obsession with clouds and the sky in general. Since I spend a lot of time on the road, with nothing to look at BUT the sky, it's understandable. I have tried many times to take photos of the beautiful moons I have seen as I drive west on my way to work. It just doesn't work. The moon, in the photo never looks as big and beautiful in the picture as it looks to me. But in the morning, I may get the shot of the moon I want because it's going to be bigger and more amazing than ever.

Tonight (September 8th) is the night of the final three supermoons that began in July. In fact, it's a full harvest moon, which means you will be able to see 99.9% of it will be seen around 1:24 am EDT on the morning of September 9th. Tonight' moon will be the brightest of the year.

So, get ready. It is going to be a magical night for moon pics. :-)
