The Sandy Lee Watkins Songwriters Festival is coming to Henderson August 1st-4th and there are 20 great Nashville songwriters coming in to tell their stories.  Today we had the chance to talk to the writer of some great country songs, Jamie Teachenor.

Jamie's first claim to fame happened when he sat down to write with Rory Feek of Joey + Rory.  A tragic situation turned into an inspirational hit song for Blaine Larsen with the writing of How Do You Get That Lonely.  The Oakland City University grad has also had cuts for Trace Adkins, Collin Raye, and a very popular album cut on Luke Bryan's Doin' My Thing album.

Jamie also has his own project out as an artist and you can find out more about it and get a free download here.

Jamie will be preforming Thursday night of the Songwriter's Festival at Rookies in Henderson.
