Salsa for Dummies [Recipe]

With spring and summer just around the corner, several people in the area are growing their own fresh fruits and veggies. One of the best ways to use the tons of tomatoes and other garden goodies is a zesty salsa! Check out our homemade salsa recipe below! Add as much KICK as you want!

Ingredients

  • 2 medium-large tomatoes
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 3 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • 1-3 jalapenos depending on taste
  • 1 garlic clove
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • squirt of lime

Directions

  1. Cut tomato and onion into quarters.
  2. Blend all ingredients until coarsely chopped.
  3. Serve with chips or fish tacos!
