As I was scrolling through Facebook this morning, a post in Tri-State Yard Sales Facebook page caught my eye. This 1969 Dodge Motor Home Bus, owned by Tony Vincent and named 'Road Trip,' has been an Evansville icon for several years but due to illness Tony has decided to let go of his treasure.

Tony bought Road Trip from its first owner who took it to several music festivals and out to South Dakota for a yearly trip. Everywhere he went, he'd get a sticker to commemorate the journey. After twenty years, the previous owner's wife laid down the law and Road Trip had to go.

Tony went on to tell me that RT can usually be seen at Frog Follies, The Shrinerfest, the Fall Fest and he'll even park it around town for people to enjoy. Tony told me that wherever he goes, people warm right up to RT and he even has a free lifetime pass to some campgrounds.

Road Trip is made completely of fiberglass and is 27 feet long. A professional contractor, Tony recently remodeled the inside and is in the process of remodeling the floor. Tony said he'll hate to see RT go but knows it will bring great joy to someone as it brought to him.
