‘Red Band Society’ Debuts On Fox Tonight
I had a chance to visit with Fox 44 today and preview some of this season's new shows. One of those shows was 'Red Band Society.' This show is set in a children's hospital with several adolescent patients in for the long haul. That may sound dark and depressing for some, but the show looks like it will be a very inspiring show in the long run.
Narrated by a very special member of the cast, who's in a coma, the show revolves around the rebellious amputee, the mean girl cheerleader who finds herself in the hospital after an episode at practice, plus a new cancer patient that joins their inner circle. I relate the show to one of my favorites, Glee. No, there are no song and dance numbers, but there is a lot of drama and good character development in the pilot with the unknown ensemble cast.
I expect to follow this series as it unfolds and I recommend you do too! Check it out tonight at 8pm on Fox 44!
