Possible Tornado Kills Three in Harrisburg, IL and One in Missouri – Several More Missing and Injured
Here in Newburgh, we experienced high winds and a possible F-1 tornado that caused damage this morning at 6 a.m. but no fatalities have been reported.
In our neighboring city of Harrisburg, IL, it has been reported that inclement weather has claimed the life of three or four victims. Over 35 homes were damaged due to the possible tornadoes and several are still missing. According to KFVS Heartland News several wounded are being loaded into ambulances. Several businesses were also destroyed and the winds were so strong that they even tipped over semi-trucks. The unseasonal high temperatures were the probable cause of this morning’s weather.
