The pictures look strange, the site of Peyton Manning wearing a Denver Broncos helmet and jersey, but that IS the reality for Colts fans. Manning reported to his first Broncos mini-camp workout and is running the offense and directing players just like he did for so many years in Indianapolis. This is the first time the media has seen Manning throw since the beginning of training camp a year ago. Manning seems almost completely recovered from the neck injury and subsequent surgery that kept the four-time NFL MVP on the sidelines for the entire 2011 season.

Of course, only time will tell how 'recovered' Manning is, but so far he looks very strong and is throwing the ball like his old self with accuracy and a lot of zip.

Manning is preparing for his first season as a Denver Bronco after being released by the Colts in March in what was a very strange press conference with Colts owner Jim Irsay. Manning signed with the Broncos not long after his release which led to the departure of fan favorite, Tim Tebow who is now with the New York Jets.
