Part of Riverside Drive Closed Until August 14th

Part of Riverside Drive downtown is closed starting today, and through August 14th.  Here's the route affected, since not all of Riverside is closed.

Riverside Drive is pretty heavily travelled in Evansville, so when it's closed it can always cause a bit of a backup. Part of Riverside is closed today, until next Tuesday the 14th, so if your commute involves Riverside you may want to take a different route.

The part of Riverside affected is from Cherry Street to Shawnee Drive.  Traffic will be able to detour around the construction by going up to 2nd street.
