Located literally in the middle of nowhere, in Gentryville, Carolyn's Country Pizza-Ria is a place that you may have never heard of if you haven't driven by and ate it before. Although it has been in business since 1993, I hadn't heard of it until a couple of years ago. If a remote business like that can stay in business for 26 years, it has to be good. Especially since it was featured on Only In Your State, it is definitely worth the visit!

Carolyn's Country Pizza-Ria serves more than just delicious thin crust pizza. They also have things like fried chicken, strombolis, burgers, pastas, soups...pretty much something on the menu for everyone! Not to mention their made from scratch deserts!

The thing that I enjoy most (other than the food) is the view from their dining room. It's such a peaceful scene. I don't know why, but it has always stood out to me. Sure, I could show it to you here, but it's something that you should see for yourself.

Hours are 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
