Oh What Fun it Is to Decorate Our Christmas Tree

Last weekend, Mike and I put up our Christmas tree. It's an artificial pre-lit tree that takes forever to get the branches fluffed and stretched out to make it look somewhat real.

After hours of stretching the tree limbs up and down, and sideways and all around and plugging it in to see how pretty it looked, I decided to wait until this past weekend to decorate it.  So, after a week of looking at our naked tree with just lights, I finally got out the boxes of Christmas ornaments and found the box of Christmas hooks to hang them with.  And wouldn't you know it, those hooks have stayed connected all year long! OMG!  What a mess! haha!
