Oasis Dementia Care Opens Adult Day Care Community [FEATURED PARTNER]

Oasis Dementia Care, Evansville’s only adult day care community devoted exclusively to families confronting memory loss challenges, today opened its adult day care programs, activities and services! The adult day care component is the first phase of Oasis’ community development, with licensed assisted living and respite care options to be added later this year as the facility’s construction reaches its conclusion.
Located at 4301 Washington Avenue in Evansville, Oasis’ adult day care services are available for up to ten hours per day, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Evening and weekend care options are available by prior reservation.
“Our community’s activities are driven by the imagination, creativity and interests of our adult day care guests,” says Adult Day Care Director Sara Jones. “We have designed a well-balanced and stimulating program that includes exercise programming, games, memory engaging activities and sensory enrichment initiatives tailored to meet the specific needs of each guest. Our guests will also enjoy daily meals and snacks provided by The Carousel Restaurant.”
Oasis’ adult day care activities are created, monitored and delivered by memory loss
specialists who receive comprehensive training on dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Oasis is a member of the Indiana Association of Adult Day Services and the National Adult Day Services Association.
