Students affected by the recent closure of ITT Technical Institute are invited to continue and complete their educational pursuits – on campus or online – at Indiana Tech. The university has created a webpage to welcome ITT students to Indiana Tech and streamline the free application process. That page is located at indianatech.edu/itt.

The Evansville location at 900 Tutor Lane on Evansville’s Eastside just off of Burkhardt road is easily accessible for all of the displaced ITT students. Indiana Tech also has the ability to begin students in coursework as early as October 2nd. Indiana Tech will be holding an open house for ITT Tech students on Wednesday September 21, from 1-6 at the Evansville campus. During this time they will have admissions representatives as well as our enrollment assistant available for consultations. Students who are unable to make this open house are encouraged to reach out via phone at 812-909-3634 or over email at CJWildeman@indianatech.edu .

Indiana Tech will allow ITT students to transfer up to 90 credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree. It will also be able to conduct a credit assessment within 48 hours to let students know how many credits can be transferred.

“Our goal for all students is to streamline processes so they can focus on their education,” said Indiana Tech Vice President of Enrollment Management Steve Herendeen. “When ITT students take a look at what Indiana Tech has to offer, I think they will find the transition to our university will be seamless and they will be able to resume their educational pursuits in a matter of days instead of weeks or months.”

Indiana Tech has been helping people achieve their educational goals for more than 85 years, arming students with relevant skills that employers are looking for. The not-for-profit university specializes in career-oriented degree programs in business, engineering, computer science, criminal justice, health care administration, education and law. In all, Indiana Tech offers more than 60 degree options at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s, Ph.D. and Juris Doctor level.

Indiana Tech’s main campus is in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
