Work on the northbound side of the Twin Bridges is expected to re-start tomorrow and continue thru the weekend.

According to the Kentucky Department of Transportation,

"A northbound work zone is in place today for guardrail upgrades.  It is expected to be in place until about 5 p.m., today. On Thursday, February 16th, a contractor plans to restrict northbound traffic from approximately 8:30 a.m., CST, to about 2:30 p.m., to continue installation work on a solar navigation lighting system.  The contractor will return with a northbound lane restriction starting at 9 p.m., Friday night, and continuing around the clock this weekend until sometime Sunday.

Northbound commuters should allow extra travel time.  Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow."

This is part of placing solar lighting on the bridges. Keep up to date on traffic in the area HERE
