Nickelodeon’s Double Dare ‘Slime’ Ingredients Revealed

One of the more popular shows in the '80s and '90s was Nickelodeon's 'Double Dare' and of course the main feature of that show was the Slime that would drench unfortunate contestants. There are hundreds of videos on YouTube featuring the slime, one video is included below, but the question everyone wanted answered was...what was in the slime? The show's host, Marc Summers recently opened up about what actually went into the famous green slime.

The base was vanilla pudding, applesauce, oatmeal and green food

coloring. By the third day of taping, just about anything else on the obstacle course also went into it as well. So, there you have it...one of the world's great mysteries has been solved and the slime wasn't actually slime at all which was kind of like finding out the tooth fairy wasn't real.
