Carolers, musicians, period dressed townspeople, Santa photos, trolley tours with a hop-on hop-off shopper bus and more will be part of the annual Historic Downtown “Newburgh Celebrates Christmas” event taking place this weekend, December 5th and December 6th.

This annual tradition allows everyone to step back into the 1800s with street musicians and carolers in traditional dress and characters from “Christmas Past.”  The Newburgh Museum will host its plum pudding exhibit offering "tastings" to visitors.  The weekend will end with the official lighting of the town trees and a public concert by the Castle Knight Sensations show choir.
