This might be one study they could have kept to themselves. Just in time for Global Handwashing Day, researchers from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and Queen Mary, University of London went to 12 cities and took 390 samples from cellphones and hands to be tested for germs. They found that even though 95 percent of people said they washed their hands with soap, 92 percent of phones and 82 percent of hands had bacteria on them. Sixteen percent of phones and hands had traces of E. Coli bacteria on them and E. Coli can cause nasty stomach issues. If you have bacteria on your hands, you are about three times as likely to have bacteria on your phone....Eeeeeewww!

One of the researchers said that mobile phones are an ideal place for bacteria to grow because, the more you talk on them, the warmer they get. Bottom line, WASH YOUR HANDS and teach the kids who have phones the importance of handwashing, especially if you use your phone IN the bathroom which is completely disgusting. If you're in the bathroom, do us all a favor and
