New Movie Releases — ‘Life of Pi,’ ‘Red Dawn,’ ‘Rise of the Guardians,’ ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ and More

It’s Thanksgiving week, and we’re thankful for all the new movies hitting theaters in the next few days. There’s plenty of family adventure, action and drama coming to the big screen, with new releases hitting on Wednesday and Friday.
‘Life of Pi’ tells the story of a zookeeper’s son lost at sea with a Bengal tiger, hyena, zebra and orangutan in this film based on the acclaimed novel of the same name.
A remake of the ’80s classic, ‘Red Dawn’ follows a group of teens who band together to protect their town from a North Korean invasion.
In ‘Rise of the Guardians,’ Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and Sandman seek the help of rebel Jack Frost to save the world from an evil force known as Pitch.
‘Silver Linings Playbook’ follows a bipolar man trying to get his life—and his wife—back after being released from a mental institution.
‘Hitchcock’ follows master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock as he tries to make ‘Psycho,’ one of the most notorious horror films in the history of cinema.
In ‘Rust and Bone,’ a man goes to live with his brother and sister, and bonds with their friend, a killer-whale trainer who lost her legs in a horrible accident.

Tri-State Gives Moore Mediathon Raises $26,000 For Red Cross
