Yesterday, I was lucky enough to be invited to the new Fox 44 for a screening of some brand new shows that will be airing on the network this fall.  In doing that, I think I have found the show that will serve as the latest guilty pleasure for my me and my wife.  Scheduled to air on Fox after "Glee," it's the new comedy, "New Girl," starring the lovely and super funny Zoey Deschanel.  Zoey joins her big sister, Emily on the network.  Emily plays the title role in the Fox hit, "Bones."  I first noticed the cute and quirky, Zoey Deschanel in her role as Jovie in my new favorite Christmas movie, Elf.  In "New Girl," she plays socially awkward Jess, who is trying to move on from her ex and her roommate by moving in with three bachelors.  In the pilot, they try to get her back on her feet and back in the dating scene before she sabotages herself.  I laughed out loud through most of the episode, and I'm sure this will be another favorite of mine from Fox, just as last year's "Raising Hope" was, and "Glee" was the season before.  Get ready for "New Girl," coming to Fox September 20th at 8pm.
