Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Champ Joey Chestnut Crushes It In Twinkie Eating Contest

Joey Chestnut has won the annual 4th of July Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest seven consecutive times including this past summer. In honor of the return of the Twinkie, the folks at Bally's Casino in Tunica, Mississippi held the first ever World Twinkie-Eating Chamoionship. Chestnut, who is the number one ranked competitive eater in the world according to Major League Eating, absolutely dominated the other challengers by downing 121 Twinkies in six minutes. That's right...121 Twinkies in SIX minutes!!!

The second place Twinkie eater downed 111 of the snack delights, 10 fewer than Chestnut. Over the six minutes, Chestnut averaged about 20 Twinkies per minute, which could shatter the record set by arch rival Kobayashi in 2010 when Kobayashi scarfed 14 Twinkies in a one minute competition.
