Mountain Biker Takes One For The Team From An Antelope! [Video]

So, you're riding your bike through an African game reserve when all of a sudden, an antelope charges from the side and lowers it's head right into yours; no way, right?? Wrong!! That is exactly what happened to mountain biker Evan Van der Spuy, a Team Jeep South Africa rider who was competing in the 'Time Freight MTB Express" at Albert Falls Dam when seemingly out of nowhere gets attacked by a red hartebees. The red hartebees is from the antelope family and can pack quite a punch as this unfortunate rider found out. A teammate captured the whole ting on a helmet-cam and the footage is amazing. Van der Spuy was not seriously injured, but his helmet was destroyed. See for yourself.
