As if the cold wasn't enough, there's more snow that could impact the Tri-State this week.

According to Eyewitness News Metorologist, Joe Bird, we could see some winter weather here in the Tri-State late Wednesday night and into Thursday.

A detailed forecast from the National Weather Service for this week doesn't look too appealing:

Wednesday Night
Snow likely before 4am, then sleet likely, possibly mixed with snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. East northeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Thursday
Snow and sleet before 9am, then rain, possibly mixed with snow between 9am and 11am, then rain after 11am. High near 39. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Thursday Night
A chance of rain and snow before 10pm, then a chance of snow between 10pm and midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. West wind around 7 mph.

As mentioned earlier, the National Weather Service said their confidence level would most likely increase in terms of the likelyhood of snow. Well, surpise, surpise...it has! We now have a "high confidence level" for snow on Wednesday.

I am not a fan of winter weather. Hopefully we don't see much snow here. Either way, we will keep you updated on what the Tri-State can expect in terms of the weather and possible school closings/delays as a result of the snow.
