‘Monsters University’ Gets New Photos and a Legitimate College Website
If you’ve been dying to see more of ‘Monsters Inc. 2′/ ‘Monsters University,’ fear not — we’ve got a whole batch of new photos and a very special (and fully-functional!) college website courtesy of our friends at Pixar to give you a fun peek at the upcoming prequel to ‘Monsters, Inc.’
We’ve been waiting years – years! — for Pixar’s ‘Monsters, Inc. 2′ so it brings us great joy to share a whole bunch of new photos from ‘Monsters University’ with you guys. The film is a prequel to the first, following best monster pals Mike and Sully way back when they were a couple of guys at Monsters University, preparing for their jobs at the energy corporation where… well, you saw the first movie, so you know what happens there.
But back in college, these guys didn’t like each other very much, and ‘Monsters University’ tells the story of how they overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Sure, there’s no Boo this time around, but that doesn’t mean the movie will be short on cuteness.
Take this brand new college website, for instance. MonstersUniversity.com (which should totally have an .edu address, by the way) introduces us to the world of Mike and Sully’s alma mater, and it does so with a totally straight face. There’s a staff page that familiarizes us with some of the new characters we’ll be seeing in the film, and tons of photos of the school grounds and fellow monster students. There are also links for applications and financial aids, though the site says they aren’t currently accepting applications — hopefully that’ll change soon.

Once, on a trip back to Indiana from Tennessee, a deer came inches away from slamming through the passenger side window of my car, injuring my son. Luckily, the deer hit the front of the windshield and rolled off the hood of the car. But in the case of this bus, it came right through the window and went crazy!!

The "Sixty for Sixty" campaign to get George his 60th #1 single while he was still 60 years old didn't quite make it, "Give It All We Got Tonight" has only made it to #10. But, that's OK, there is no one like George Strait and there quite possibly never will be. Several, I mean tons, of artists made videos to try and urge fans to buy the single. It is very touching.
