My mom passed away 4 years ago and there's not a day that goes by, that I wished she was still here.  It's still hard to celebrate Mother's Day without her.  Here's just a few things I am so grateful for and blessed to have had her in my life. Remembering My Mom

As a little girl, I’ll never forget how you taught me how to dance and as I looked up at you I could see you smiling and laughing and how much fun we both we’re having together.

You were the best Brownie leader ever!  You taught us how to make crafty things and earn badges. Girl Scout camp was fun, too!

In the summertime you let us play until dark with our friends. We went bike riding everywhere, played softball in the park that dad helped to build.

I always looked forward to Saturday's when you made homemade pizzas!  You made the BEST homemade spaghetti sauce with pasta and meatballs! (She was Italian)

I remember how you could talk to anyone, anywhere we would go!   I was the quiet, shy one in the family.  Until I got into radio, I wasn't shy anymore!

When I became a mom, you were there to help me and guide me through motherhood. The distance between my home in Pennsylvania and yours in Ohio kept us from visiting as often as we would have liked.  Then another move to Indiana!  We did the best we could.  I still got your kisses and hugs every time we talked on the phone together!

Thanks, Mom, for teaching me to be independent, caring, loving, considerate, encouraging, and all the other lessons that you have taught me throughout my life.  I miss you so much.  Love always and forever - Deb
