Miranda Lambert Is a Woman of Privilege in ‘Mama’s Broken Heart’ Video Teaser

Miranda Lambert shared a sneak peek of her upcoming video for ‘Mama’s Broken Heart,’ and as always, she looks good. With a big, beehive of hair and even bigger Jackie O-style glasses, Lambert plays a woman of privilege. But despite her good fortune, something isn’t quite right.

While the clip is just a 40-second teaser, you can glean a lot of information about the video and Lambert’s character from the context clues. You can tell that she’s not happy, despite all of her material possessions and all the beautiful things she is surrounded by, like expensive furniture and what looks like several hundred thread count sheets. The fact that she has dough, lives in a beautiful house and owns fancy things isn’t enough, since she doesn’t crack a smile until the very end of the teaser.

There’s also a quick image of a knife and someone with gardening shears. Could this plot go down a dark road? We’ll have to wait and see until the video drops.

Lambert does look gorgeous, though, with her big hair, which adds a few inches to her frame and makes her taller. Her makeup also has a ’60s look to it, thanks to the blue eye shadow and black eyeliner.

In this clip, we get to see Miranda Lambert, the actress, which is not a “new” concept, since she has shown her acting chops in the past, appearing on an episode of ‘Law and Order: SVU.’
