Meet Evansville’s Cutest New resident, Rupert the Rhino!

Rupert the rhino recently made the journey to call Mesker Park Zoo his home, and with that, we were lucky enough to make a stop in and meet the new guy! We also learned a thing or two about rhinos! 

Recently we took a trip to Mesker Park Zoo to meet Rupert the Rhino! While there we got to get up close and personal, and learn more than we ever thought possible about rhinos!  Most importantly we learned that rhinos feel a lot like basketballs, they are kind of like huge cats,  and their favorite thing in the world is watermelons, even though because he is on a strict diet, they're a rare treat!
