According to ABC News, there has been a massive car seat recall because the harness webbing can break in a crash and may not keep children restrained.

More than 25,000 car seats are being recalled by Graco, which is enough to double check your child's car seat to make sure if it is a part of this recall or not. You can never be too cautious with your child's safety. Here are the details.

The recall affects certain My Ride 65 convertible seats with model numbers 1871689, 1908152, 1813074, 1872691, 1853478, 1877535, 1813015, and 1794334. The seats were made on July 22, 2014 and have a code of 2014/06 on a tag that's on the webbing.

If you or someone that you know has these seats, be cautious, as this is a serious safety issue. According to the article on ABC News,

the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration say that agency tests discovered the webbing strength problem. Graco traced the problem to a single batch of webbing.

That being said, based off of the information released, your child will be safe and sound while driving in your everyday routine. This is only a precaution in cases where you are in a car accident. Since we can't quite predict when we are going to have a wreck, it is important to be aware of this recall, especially if your child's car seat meets the criteria.
