Maren Morris, Zedd and Grey lit up the stage at the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday (May 22) with their explosive collaboration, "The Middle."

Fresh off the Billboard Music Awards where they debuted the track live on television, the multi-genre acts dazzled the famous talk show stage with their smash hit song. From the moment "The Middle" started, the audience was on their feet dancing along.

Morris owned the performance — her stage presence has grown immensely since she made her debut with "My Church." She was in her element on Ellen and among new friends, confidently leading the song while EDM duo Grey jammed on guitar and snare drum and Zedd took over keys.

Their performance came to a lively finish as confetti fell over the performers and the audience.

"The Middle" Was a Top 5 Moment at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, Too

"The Middle" has been a huge hit for the three stars, as it hit No. 1 on Billboard's Adult Top 40, Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and the mainstream Top 40 charts in the U.S., in addition to topping charts in Singapore, Venezuela and Germany.

Morris was one of 13 female artists who recorded the song — Demi Lovato, Camilla Cabello, Bebe Rexha tried their hand — but ultimately, the country star felt like the best fit.

“The sound is reflective of my many influences as an artist — a little bit country, little pop, little R&B, relatable, emotional and catchy as hell. There are no limits with this song," Morris said after the song debuted in January 2018. As "The Middle" continues to climb the chart, Morris is busy putting together her sophomore album, hoping to finish it before venturing out with Niall Horan on the Flicker Tour.
