Man Reunited With Car Two Years After Forgetting Where He Parked It
Forgetting where you parked your car always gives you a sinking feeling. However, it may have been for the best that this German man lost track of where he’d left his vehicle in December of 2010…
That’s because his forgetfulness happened to be fueled by a long night of heavy drinking.  Fortunately for everyone else on the road, the 33 year-old found another way to get home, figuring he’d find his car in the morning.
Unfortunately his search was fruitless, and as time passed he had no choice but to declare the car missing.
Last month Bavarian police finally found the vehicle. It was almost three miles from where the man thought he had parked it, suggesting that he’d had gone on even more of an epic bender than ever imagined.
“The weird thing is that it turned up so far away, although the owner was pretty sure of where he had left it,” explained police spokesman Alexander Lorenz.
There also happened to be $51,000 worth of tools in the car, making this belated reunion of man and vehicle that much sweeter.
