Luke Combs spoke with People exclusively to divulge some of his Valentine's Day plans. After all, the singer has some pressure this year for the holiday, as he's upped the stakes with his significant other: He recently got engaged to longtime girlfriend Nicole Hocking during their Maui vacation. The two took to social media to share the news on Nov. 29,  2018.

Even though Combs didn't take home his first time Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist on Sunday (Feb. 10,) he was able to present an award and remain humble, and was thrilled to be there. He even got to meet some artists he enjoys and looks up to—such as none other than Dolly Parton. And he also had Valentine's Day on his mind.

During the red carpet prior to the awards show, he told People that he will be playing a sold-out concert in Knoxville, Tenn. as part of his headlining his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour along with supporting acts Lanco and Jameson Rogers on Valentine's Day. However, Combs added, “But [my fiancee] will be out on the road [with me], so I’m sure I’ll come up with some kind of Casanova-type thing to try to sweep her off her feet one more time.”

Combs doesn't seem to have much to worry about in terms of wooing his gal. He joked at the time of their engagement, “She said yes a while ago but this is a much better place to take pictures than the kitchen. Can’t wait to spend forever with you! I love you!”

Meanwhile, Hocking raved back, “You’re stuck with me forever!! I love you so much babe.”
