Luke Bryan Apologizes For All Star Game National Anthem Performance [Video]

The above title might be slightly misleading because it wasn't his actual performance that got him in trouble as much as what he did during the performance at last night's Major League All-Star game. Our National Anthem is a very difficult song to sing and we have all witnessed someone messing it up in one way or another.

Bryan didn't forget the words or mess up the words...he actually sang it beautifully, but if you watch carefully he does something you just don’t see. Bryan admits he had the lyrics written on his hand, which is actually pretty smart, but the problem was, he actually checked his hand while he was singing, and then later checked his watch. So, not one fail, but two!!

It may not seem like a big deal, but it did blow up on twitter and many people noticed. Bryan said he checked his watch to make sure that his timing was right for the stealth bomber flyover. Bryan tweeted his sincerest apologies, but says he just wanted to make sure he didn't mess it up... ooops. See for yourself below.
