The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will set up lane restrictions beginning July 31st on a long stretch of the Lloyd Expressway to allow work crews the opportunity to seal joints in the pavement.

The restrictions will take place in the westbound lanes of the Lloyd from Wabash Avenue all the way to Highway 41 with the left lanes being closed around the clock through duration of the project, and the center lane being closed from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to a press release provided by INDOT.

Crews will be sawing and sealing joints in the pavement to make the transition to each section smoother.

Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed by the end of August.
