I normally LOVE the snow. It's beautiful, and you can play in it like a kid. Well, I thought that until yesterday. After getting stuck in the snow, on a back road, helpless, with no one around, for an hour and a half, as of right now, I think it's a pain in the neck!!!! I had to be rescued by four wheeler and five grown men for goodness sake. AHHHHHHHH!!

But, even after that, I still couldn't resist taking some pics as we took another hour and a half to get home, which is normally a 15 minute drive. But right now, let's try and focus on the beauty. If that's EVEN possible. ;- )

Yesterday, on my way home from work.....

I had to stop but was afraid I might not get going again.

WHY, did I have to stop????

Because I was the DUMBA$$ that didn't get gas the day BEFORE it started snowing!! lol

After I filled my tank, I proceeded to drive down a road that had not been cleared at all! Determined that I am an excellent driver on the snow, I felt confident I would make it. Well, I was wrong. I turned down a back road that had snow that went up past my wheels. I was bottoming out! Now, there are NO pics of this moment (1-1/2 hour) because I was too scared and panic-stricken to think about preserving these memories.   ;-)

Finally, three men showed up to help me, which made me feel relieved and scared to death all at the same time. HAHA! Then, just as the gentlemen were pushing me out of my snow trap, my husband and father-in-law showed up on the four wheeler. Whew! Quenton got in the car with me, we headed back into town and to try another route home. Here are some of the pics of our journey, and I mean journey, home.
