Drivers heading into Evansville from Posey County will need to give themselves a little extra time to get where they're going as the Indiana Department of Transportation begins a new paving project.

Crews will restrict the eastbound side of the Expressway to one lane from the Posey County line all the way to the intersection of Rosenberger Avenue (where McDonald's, Thornton's, etc. are located) starting Monday, with the work expected to last until September according to Eyewitness News.

If this stretch of the Lloyd is part of your daily commute, you might be better served finding an alternate route for the next few months. If that's not an option, make sure you give yourself extra time as the speed limit through that area will be lower than what's normally posted.
