Know Someone Who Won’t Shut Up – You Need A Shut Up Gun [Video]

Have you ever been listening to someone talk wishing you could just push a button and have them shut up? Well, now you can with the 'Shut Up Gun' which uses electronic technology to stop someone from yammering on right in their tracks. Every one of us knows someone at work that just won't stop talking....we have one right here at WKDQ and as much as we love the guy, enough is enough.....are you with me?Thanks to some Japanese engineers, we now have a device that will stop someone from talking and all you have to is point, pull the trigger and shut them up. Finally, a gun that won't kill anyone and doesn't even hurt when it's used on you in fact, you may not even know it.

The device is called a speech jammer and basically records someone and replays their own words back to them in a few hundred milliseconds. The device uses what is referred to as 'delayed auditory feedback' which shuts down the speech production process because when their own words come back, the brain cannot process the returning words and causes the speaker to stop talking.....genius!!!

It works like a charm in the tests that have already been conducted. Imagine shutting down someone who constantly interrupts you....pure heaven!! I'm going to try this on Leslie and see if how well it works. See the device in action below. The video is in Japanese, but you'll figure it out.
