The Kentucky Department of Transportation has issued a traffic advisory for KY 109 that starts on Monday.

According to a press release:

"CSX Railroad plans to close a section of KY 109 in the Diamond community of WEBSTER County starting Monday, March 13, 2017.

CSX plans to close KY 109 at milepoint 3.788 to allow repairs to a rail crossing.  This is along KY 109 between Overby Lane and Diamond Avenue between Providence and Clay.

The roadway is expected to close at 7:00 a.m., CST, on Monday, March 13.  KY 109 is expected to reopen sometime on Friday, March 17, 2017.

There will be a marked detour via KY 1525 and KY 120.

Approximately 2,800 vehicles travel this section of KY 109 in an average day."

Expect to have delays in that area while work is being done.
