Kenny Chesney is one of several artists set to perform during the Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular live from New York.

People reports that Chesney, Meghan Trainor and 5 Seconds of Summer will headline Macy's 40th annual event during a two-hour broadcast on NBC.

After performances from all three acts, 25 minutes of fireworks will be displayed and feature more than 56,000 pyrotechnic effects. The display will also be choreographed and performed by Dreamgirls actress Jennifer Holliday and the United States Air Force Band.

Chesney is currently on the road with his Spread the Love Tour, which includes openers Miranda Lambert, Old Dominion and Jake Owen on select dates. On one recent tour stop earlier this month at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Chesney brought Lambert out to share the stage for a cover of George Strait‘s “The Fireman.” Mid-song he grabbed Lambert during the musical interlude and began two-stepping to the song before heading back to his mic. All smiles, Lambert showed off her fancy footwork as she continued to dance to the song as Chesney sang lead.

During the same show, which played to a crowd of over 46,000 country fans, he also honored Randy Travis when he covered the country legend’s “Diggin’ Up Bones,” from Travis’ 1986 album Storms of Life. Travis was one of the many in attendance, and Chesney invited the singer to the stage, which brought a big, respectful applause.

Chesney has already been announced as headliner for next year's Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo. Country Jam 2017 will take place June 15-18, 2017. VIP and reserved ticket holders for the 2016 Country Jam can renew now, as can campers and Country Club ticket holders from 2016. Visit the festival's website for more information.
