Kelsea Ballerini has selected "Miss Me More" as the next single from her sophomore album, Unapologetically. Readers can press play above to hear the beyond-catchy track.

"Miss Me More" is a song about realizing that, sometimes, breaking up and moving on isn't all that hard if it's done for the right reasons. Right out of the gate, Ballerini is listing the reasons why she decided to moved on: "I retired my red lipstick 'cause you said you didn't like it / I didn't wear my high heel shoes 'cause I couldn't be taller than you." Later in the song, she talks about how, in this past relationship, she left her aspirations behind as well: "I forgot I had dreams, I forgot I had wings / Forgot who I was before I ever kissed you."

"I thought I'd miss you when it ended / I thought it'd hurt me, but it didn't," Ballerini sings in "Miss Me More." "Thought I'd miss you / I thought I'd miss you / But I miss me more."

In what has become Ballerini's style, "Miss Me More" mixes country influences with lively pop sounds. The singer adds a mild rap into this song as well.

"Miss Me More," written by Ballerini, David Hodges and Brett McLaughlin, is the second track on Unapologetically. It follows the No. 1 "Legends" and "I Hate Love Songs" as a single from the project.
