Being asked to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry is the highlight of any country artist's career. Not everyone receives this invitation even though they may be asked to play the Opry from time to time. Well, add Keith Urban to the cast of the show that made country music famous. Urban was one of many performers on Tuesday night taking part in the All for the Hall benefit when he was surprised on stage by Opry members Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, Diamond Rio and The Oak Ridge Boys. Urban was overcome with emotion and very graciously accepted the invitation.

Urban probably should have known something was up because the theme for this year's All for the Hall was bands and duos like the Pistol Annies, Alabama, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Thompson Square and the Band Perry.  Legends Don Williams and Merle Haggard also played. See Urban's invitation below.
