Jon Prell And Eric Cornish Take Second Place In Buehler’s IGA Shopping Spree For The Tri-State Food Bank

It's the first event of its kind since 2009, the year Jon and I took first place.  Today at the Buehler's IGA on 1st Avenue, we competed against 5 other teams to collect the most expensive cart of food in 3 minutes in the Shopping Spree event.

After a grueling 3 minutes of running through the store, we racked up $1,056.79 worth of food and all of that will go to the Tri-State Food Bank.  Our total was enough to score us second place, as the Eyewitness News Meteorologist team of Ron Rhodes and David Heckard brought in over $1,200 for the win!

In total, Buehler's IGA donated about $7,000 in food today, and for that, we thank them.
