The rebooted version of Brooks & Dunn's second hit song, "My Next Broken Heart," sounds a lot like the original, with one key difference. Californian Jon Pardi opens the 2019 recreation.

Pardi was just six years old when Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn made the song a hit in late 1991. "My Next Broken Heart" was the second in a five-year streak of Top 10 hits. This new version will be found on the duo's Reboot album, a project that finds the veterans collaborating with younger country singers to reimagine older songs. Thus far, the arrangements have stayed true.

Versions of songs that feature Kane Brown and Luke Combs were released prior to this new Brooks & Dunn song. The singers share that Kacey Musgraves will also join them for "Neon Moon" and Cody Johnson will perform "Red Dirt Road." The above video of Johnson singing "Husbands and Wives" was filmed for the Taste of Country RISERS program. He covers the waltz on his latest album.

Reboot will be available on April 5. It's Brooks & Dunn's first album since Cowboy Town in 2007. In addition to the new music and a continued residency in Las Vegas, they'll play select concerts and festivals in 2019, including the Taste of Country Music Festival in June.
