Leslie - I don't know what I would do without my siblings. Although we don't live near each other (my brother lives in LA and my sister lives 3 hrs away), we never lose site of the important role we play in each others lives. They are the two people that love me for exactly who I am. We tell each other the truth when no body else will. I love them both SO much. When I am with them it's always like the best party you have ever been to.

My brother and I before my little sister came along to join our life party!

They have both aged pretty well. They take after their big sister. ;-)

Jon - Talking about intensely personal things is usually something I avoid here, but my siblings and I have been through a lot over the last 13 years, starting with our father's death in 2002, then my mother's death last June. Our family was extremely close and my parents gave the three of us a better life than any child could ever possibly hope for, but it hasn't always been easy.

Not long after dad's death, my sister became estranged from the rest of us for a variety of reasons, which was very hard on mom. Jennifer, (my sister), came back into the picture last March when mom became ill. The way she came in and took care of mom, it was like nothing had ever happened...she was amazing. Jamie, (my brother), lived with mom, so her health situation was particularly hard on him. Mom died on June 22, 2014 and her last wish was for the three of us to be a family once again, bury the past and remain close. We have done that and we all talk every week. I have never really told them both how much I dearly love them, but now, we tell each other every time we speak, I would be lost without them.
