Baby Boy Brian and myself may be as excited as anyone for the new Jason Aldean album, Night Train to hit stores on October 16th.  That's only because we got some insight into one of the cuts several months ago and we know now, it is a go!  It's one of the funniest, and catchy songs you'll hear and it may just resurrect the career of 90's star, Joe Diffie.

The demo was played for us by a Nashville insider in early June, and it was a song called '1994.'  The demo was performed by rising star and co-writer of the song, Thomas Rhett.  We were laughing and jamming to the song at the same time as it ran through titles of Joe Diffie songs and even rapped about them.  This is gold, I thought.  Since that time, Rhett has been playing the song in concert, including his show at the Indiana State Fair.  I've heard Jason Aldean's version, and I can't share it just yet, but I can share this video from Indy and the fair starring Thomas Rhett.  Enjoy and good luck getting this one out of your head!
