I have to say I'm a little surprised with last night's Idol results.  I assumed with the results of the last three seasons, following in the footsteps of David, Kris, and Lee, that naturally James Durbin would win this year.  While I thought he'd take the crown, I've really thought all season of American Idol that more country music fans were watching than normally.  Looks like country fans are really doing the voting this year.  Look how far Scotty and Lauren have gone in the contest.  They are now two of the last three left.  Plus we've had performances from Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, and Sugarland this year.  But the thing that made me really take notice last night was the two duets performed were BOTH country songs.  I started to get the hint that producers were paying attention to their perceived country audience, and that James might be in danger.  Now that we're down to 3, I think we can expect an all country final with two future country stars in Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery, and I predict Lauren takes it all.  That being said, check out the country duets the contestants performed last night on the results show of American Idol.
