The Indiana State Police is once again teaming up with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for the annual Drug Give Back Day this Saturday giving Indiana residents the opportunity to get rid of any expired prescription medication they may have sitting around their medicine cabinet.

Saturday's event marks the 13th year the DEA has offered the program designed to prevent drug abuse and prescription drug theft through proper disposal.

Drop offs will be accepted between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at any Indiana State Police post in the state. For Evansville residents, that would be the post on Highway 41 North near the Highway 41 and Interstate 64 interchange.

All drop offs are accepted for free and are anonymous with no questions asked.
