Due to issues with equipment, road work scheduled for yesterday and today along southbound HWY 41 in Henderson has been delayed.

"UPDATE on Night Work Planned along US 41 Strip at HENDERSON

Due to an equipment issue, the contractor was unable to complete demolition work along the curb at this location last night. Traffic barrels have been placed along the southbound lanes of the US 41 Henderson Strip at this section of curb and gutter.

The contractor will be unable to work tonight. The contractor plans to return to finish the curb and gutter replacement work on Monday night and Tuesday night, March 13 & 14 2017.

This night lane restriction for southbound traffic is near the Canary Lane intersection in Henderson to allow installation of new curb and gutter at an entrance along the edge of the roadway.

This is along the US 41 southbound lanes just north of the Marywood Drive intersection at 2201 Highway 41 in Henderson.

This night work zone lane restriction will go up after 9 p.m., CST. The work zone lane restriction will be removed by 5:30 a.m., each day.

This work is scheduled on a weather permitting basis."
