With Hurricane Matthew heading toward Florida, my main concern is my son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Hayley who live in Miami.

Thankfully, they made the decision to evacuate Miami Wednesday night.  (Big relief!)  I also have family and relatives in Ft. Lauderdale and Jacksonville, as well as Naples and the Tampa area on the west coast of FL.  I hope and pray they are all safe and everyone else who is in its path!

There are 10.9 million people under a hurricane warning.  Much of the east coast of Florida is under that warning.  Hurricane Matthew is currently a Category 3 and is expected to re-strengthen back to a Category 4.  Parts of Florida are under mandatory evacuations as well as GA, and SC.  A State of Emergency had been declared in FL, GA, SC, NC.  Hurricane Matthew is expected to reach land sometime on Thursday evening. (Information gathered on Oct. 6, 2016.  Updates will continue to change)
